Thanks to =kuschelirmel-stock for the CSS and ~Kip0130 for the individual gallery CSSI logged in today to find a great flood of

's,

's, and comments. The reason was my third Daily Deviation and in my opinion, my best one.
I received the feature for "Fuochi di Luce" or "Fires of Light" from `
Platinus:
"Fuochi Di Luce-Final by `Phoenix-22 is more than just an "oldie but goodie", it's a classic! Embodying a fiery spirit and determination, warmth and life, this piece is what fractals are all about! Pure, raw, unadulterated emotion! Check out this artist's entire gallery, because I think he's grown alot over the years and still personifies that fighting spirit."Now, just to give a little background to this piece: I made it back in 2005, my early days for Apo, and in many ways, the early days for the program and the community itself. It was made, I believe, using the Spiral Batch script, and tweaked from there. The gradient was actually a smooth palette from one of my all-time favorite pieces, "Tribal Phoenix" by Apocalypse_67, and it actually is the piece behind my icon.
Personally, I absolutely love this fractal. It's nothing visually or technically amazing and I certainly have better pieces in my gallery, but it is one of a few pieces that I truly love. I just think there is some emotional
thing that occurred when I first made it that has just stuck ever since. I guess you could say it was the first piece I made where I actually went "wow, I really like this program, and I really think I am getting somewhere with it."
So, to Platinus and all my commenters, +watchers, +favers, thank you - this one means a lot.

In other news, my Prime Flames project is finished!

I have gone through all the pieces that I felt were good, tweaked them a little, and rendered at higher quality. Before I post it though, I'd like to know if any of you have any favorites you would like to see included in the project. Just take a quick look through my gallery and send me a note or comment and I'll let you know if it's already in there or if I can throw it in there.
Thanks again!
