Well, I think I hit a bit of a creative stride thanks to ~Kaeltyk
and his flame provided here: kaeltyk.deviantart.com/journal…
It involves the plug-ins, which up until recently I didn't bother to go and download, but now that I have used them, I love 'em! Finally there is something that I can get something creative with without using a script.
In other news, I picked up my camera at Circuit City and saved about $150 thanks to their 2 lens kit and a bit of savvy shopping. Word of advice to holiday shoppers, bring those online prices in to the stores, you may end up saving a lot of $$$.
I took a few pictures with it, but so far nothing special as I still learn how to use it. Of course, you can head on over to my other account, ~Echo-Velocity
, to see my best photos taken with my current camera, and eventually my newest shots with the Nikon D40.
And aside from those bits of news, I am now home for winter break, so that means lots of fractals, lots of deviantArt, and a lot of catching up.
Oh, and Merry Christmas (not Happy Holidays) to everyone!
P.S. A little reminder: I plan on compiling a little tutorial of some tips and tricks for Apophysis and Terragen in the coming weeks. I've been planning it for some months now and it will hopefully be done by Christmas. I think that the overwhelming responses that I get from my "help" tutorials and advice show that there just isn't a large enough influx of help tutorials for Apophysis, especially in the area of post-processing.Stamp things:
