Ok let's see - we have an image hosted on a profile that is 1 day old and asks you to visit a website with a strange url with a promise of a financial reward on an another website. How do you even imagine that would work? And now, of course, people start crying that their computers got infected with malware. Which is great - every genius who fell for this obvious phishing scam deserved it. I hope your shitty computer burns and you along with it.

Bronies go nuts, and Nintendo Sucks?Equestria Girls
The trailer to "Equestria Girls" (the humanized MLP spinoff film) finally was released today. Aaaannnd everyone's freaking out. Again.
You know, it actually looks pretty decent. Bronies... please understand: I know you're a major unexpected demographic for the show. I know you enjoy seeing shout-out's become canon within the show, and appreciate how the creators do little things here and there for you. But... the show isn't made for you. This is not Cartoon Network and the target demographic isn't 25 year olds in college. You're a nice addition to the target demographic of little girls, but you are not the driving force behind MLP.
I don't want this to sound mean, but it needs to be said. This is where it becomes very important to understand the fine line between being a fan of the show and thinking that because you've invested so much energy into the show that you're entitled to things.
I'm sure the movie won't be as bad as everyone makes it out to be. It honest

Opinions are a Dangerous thing: Art StylesThis isn't about narking on anyone no, infact this is just my own muses really! You could say this is a journal for ENCOURAGEMENT! *SHINES*
I find sticking to one style restrictive if you are a beginning/moderate artist! (even professionals I might say! though I can't speak for everyone)
Having a distinctive look on how your art is done and produced is understandable and its a desire to appear unique to the point some one can just SEE your work and instantly think 'Oh! that's Ten-days!' or something along the line. However, when you are trying to find who you are and what kind of art you are to produce, I recommend trying, well, a lot of different things! Different styles, mixing styles, different colouring techinque, brushes, tools, shading. Don't feel dependant on what you are already doing and don't feel pressured by people just for trying new things!
Push out of your comfort zone. Can't draw hands? don't avoid it! draw the heck out of them! (how else are you going to learn?)

Well, I had a great idea for a new I.D., but unfortunetly, my camera doesn't want to go through with it.

The idea:

Picture of my eye, greyscaled, with a fractal overlain outside the iris (since my eyes are brown, it would work out). Sounds cool huh? I know that there was another deviant who had an I.D. kind of like this, but mine would have been cooler.

I'm thinking of just going for a stock image, but, since it isn't my eye, what's the point?

In other news:

I'm am having a ball with these "tiled" flames and you can expect to see a bunch of them as soon as I am done with updating my older flames. I generally am with whatever the current style is, I'm just slow to upload them.

Hope all is well, you guys are keeping me on my toes with the devwatch on my week off.

It does it just comes out extremely blurry every time I take the photo. I'll try it again tomorrow with the tripod that I have but I doubt it will do anything.

Can't you put a few books on a table and place the camera on top and then kneel in front of the table and move as close to the cam as need be and use the self timer automatic release option of the camera. After a while you know how much time you have to get into position with the eyes wide open. Just make sure that you don't need the flash or you go blind
