As some of you may have been informed, the Apophysis group is undergoing a revamping of both staff and policy. For months, `
Sya, ~
muetze, ~
MelonLogic, ~
Psychodesignz, ~
nemopaice, ~
ALP-Dreams, and myself were responsible for attending to the group. Clearly, the staff (present company included) could not live up to this task, and for this, I apologise.
The only staff members that are left are myself and ~
Psychodesignz, but we are pleased to welcome

`
Nestalgica to the administrative group. He's going to really help us with getting the group back on track and I'm pleased to have the chance to lead the group in a new direction. It's a new opportunity, a new life, and I intend to do my part to make it better than before. I might have limited experience in the group, but I've been heading up leadership roles for years now, most recently as the editor of our school's magazine, and managing editor for my school's weekly newspaper. Some of you may also know that I'm quite well informed in the community, so I'll try and use this to my advantage for you (the community!) as a head admin.
Now, onto the open positions:
PR -- Public Relations
As the PR, you would be responsible for any questions regarding the club, directories for the Apophysis tutorials/resources around the site, and possibly more. Extensive knowledge of the program would be required, and several hours per week to dedicate to the club. Knowing scripting and coding is a huge plus.
MI -- Member Itineraryist
The MI would be responsible for the constant updating of the Member List. There are many notes dating from early October about membership, so we would like someone in here asap. No knowledge of the program is really required, but we would prefer a fractaller on staff. Microsoft Excel is required to be on your computer, along with some knowledge of the program.
GSD -- Gallery Submissions Director(s)
For this, two deviants working side-by-side would be excellent. These two deviants would be responsible for deciding what goes in the gallery, possibly a new submission process, contests and more. I would prefer two people who work well together and talk often; you both should be able to bounce ideas off of each other. The deviants should both have intermediate knowledge of the program.
WTCS -- Weekly Theme Challenge Staff
For this position, we would need you to be active only on Saturdays (or whenever is comfortable for you to work the Weekly Theme Challenges) for nearly the full day, posting submissions and such, and taking tally of the votes. You should have at least basic knowledge of the program to be in this position. You should also be very creative, as it will be your job to come up with the themes. Knowledge of what the Challenges are and how they work is required.
Also, you may end up playing a huge role with other contests, so keep that in mind.

If you wish to apply for any of these positions, fill out the following form and note it to *Apophysis.

I'll be doing some of the training myself, especially for the gallery staffers, so feel free to drop me a note if you have any questions.
Oh yeah, you know my new fractals? Go check 'em out.
