Ok let's see - we have an image hosted on a profile that is 1 day old and asks you to visit a website with a strange url with a promise of a financial reward on an another website. How do you even imagine that would work? And now, of course, people start crying that their computers got infected with malware. Which is great - every genius who fell for this obvious phishing scam deserved it. I hope your shitty computer burns and you along with it.

Bronies go nuts, and Nintendo Sucks?Equestria Girls
The trailer to "Equestria Girls" (the humanized MLP spinoff film) finally was released today. Aaaannnd everyone's freaking out. Again.
You know, it actually looks pretty decent. Bronies... please understand: I know you're a major unexpected demographic for the show. I know you enjoy seeing shout-out's become canon within the show, and appreciate how the creators do little things here and there for you. But... the show isn't made for you. This is not Cartoon Network and the target demographic isn't 25 year olds in college. You're a nice addition to the target demographic of little girls, but you are not the driving force behind MLP.
I don't want this to sound mean, but it needs to be said. This is where it becomes very important to understand the fine line between being a fan of the show and thinking that because you've invested so much energy into the show that you're entitled to things.
I'm sure the movie won't be as bad as everyone makes it out to be. It honest

Happy 2008 everyone!

I have to start off by directing all of you to my new I.D. for 2008: [link] which I would love some feedback on.

Second, I have to give a feature to the wonderful person who gave me a 3 month subscription,

~LonesomeFaery!

~LonesomeFaery has only been on deviantART for a year and a half, but her recent contributions to the Apophysis community are sure to be remembered. She recently took over the duties of the Fractal Artist of the Year nominations and brought what could have been a nightmare of a project to oversee to the entire community smoothly. For her, that's just part of being here, as she has been a part of ~RippedArtTaskForce, ~ImagersFractalDDs, #Fractal-Resources, #Apophysis, and a few other clubs and chatrooms outside of the fractal-related groups on dA.

Her generosity is well noticed from those who have recieved gifts of subscriptions and I
am really glad to be a part of the list. As for her fractals, let's just say she knows how to get some beautiful textures in her flames. Combine that with some stunning and striking gradients and she is not just generous, but talented as well. So, although I can't give much, I can always do some thumbnail features.

Thanks again for the subscription!

I have reinstalled apophysis because it gave me errors with new script. now putting the connection on desktop makes me the script but it doesn't work me the editor giving me this message: Access violation at address 0048F32A in module 'Apophysis 207beta.exe'read of address 000011c9.
What is this?

Two things I'm thinking would be the problem: Do you have Apophysis 2.02 installed on your computer? If you are trying to just run the latest beta, it won't work, so you need to have the framework from the 2.02 version on your computer.

Second, are you trying to run the script from the desktop? The script should be placed in your Apophysis folder along with the other scripts and files.

I've gotten that error before and I can't remember how I solved it, as far as I know, it has shown up sometimes, and not shown up other times.
